BME Students Win Silver at Contest

A team of Biomedical Engineering students won a silver award atBIOMOD2011, an international bio-molecular design competition held recently in Boston.

Andrew Ghazi (BME 2013), Elyse Shapiro (Barnard 2014), and Parnika Agrawal (IIT Kanpur 2012) competed as BME’s “Motor Pro-Team” against 21 other undergraduate teams from Europe, Asia, and the US.

Class Notes Go Online

Interested in reading what your classmates are doing, but can’t find your copy of the Columbia Engineering Magazine?  Class Notes–the section of the magazine dedicated to alumni updates and news–has been put online for alumni and friends to view.  Read the stories of your classmates and friends and submit one of your own to keep others informed of your endeavors!  A UNI and password are required to view Class Notes online.  If you do not have a UNI or do not remember your password, please click here to proceed.

SEAS Launches New Alumni Pages

Columbia Engineering has launch an update to its website, including an updated section just for alumni.  The new webpage bring together information from various departments and corners of the University, from the Center for Career Education to the Columbia Alumni Association.  The new pages also feature a page devoted entirely to ““how to get involved” for alumni to find a way to give back to the School through their time and energy.  Go to engineering.columbia.edu/alumni to view the updated pages!
