The Columbia Lions defeated Dartmouth Big Green for the first homecoming win since 2000! Columbia Engineering Alumni Association and the Columbia College Alumni Association had an amazing family-friendly day of celebration at Columbia University’s Homecoming Football Game at the Baker Athletics Complex on Saturday, October 22nd. Despite the weather Alumni enjoyed a BBQ picnic lunch under the tent and reconnected with fellow alumni. The Engineering Reunion Welcome Dinner and CEAA Awards Presentation will take place on Thursday, June 2 from 7:00-9:00 PM in Low Library Rotunda. Join the CEAA and CEYA for a two-hour “Beer 101″ at Heartland Brewery (HB Burger) in Times Square. A brewmaster will explain the brewing process, as well as the tasting & pairing of beer with food. We will be enjoying Heartland Brewery’s most popular appetizers with six of their classic brews.

The Columbia Engineering Alumni Association (CEAA) is hosting it’s annual Scotch tasting at The Brandy Library in Tribeca on Thursday, November 19th starting at 6:30pm. Join your fellow alumni for an evening of light fare and guided rounds of tastings with discussion led by the Library’s sommelier. Guests will learn how to smell and taste Scotch, its unique history and geography, and how Scotch is made. The evening ends with a question-and answer session.
